Old Moor Cattery is a long well established family run business, set within the village location of Littleham, just two miles outside of Bideford.
Our cattery offers a harmonious and peaceful setting in a country garden, surrounded by rural views for all cats to enjoy their holiday, while you relax and enjoy yours.

LICENCING AND INSURANCE

Old Moor Boarding Cattery is fully insured and the health of your cat is vitally important to us, we are proud of our excellent health and safety record under the licence issued by Torridge District Council, compliant with The Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963.  The District Council inspects Old Moor Boarding Cattery on an annual basis in accordance with this act for the licence to be retained.

CAT HEALTH

Before your cat is accepted into the cattery it must satisfy the following conditions:

•    Cats must be neutered (unless under 6 months old)
•    Cats must be vaccinated against feline infectious enteritis and cat flu
•    We also request that your cat is treated for fleas and worms

All cats will be given a quick visual examination before being shown to their chalet to ensure they are in good health.

If the above conditions are not met Old Moor Boarding Cattery reserves the right to refuse board.

FEEDING, PRESCRIPTION/SPECIAL DIETS AND MEDICATION

We will feed your cat on a diet, which is the same, or as close as possible to the one they are used to at home.  We keep a large selection of high quality dried and wet food such as Hills Science plan, Whiskers and Felix in gravy or jelly.

Cats have fresh water available throughout the day and are fed on a mixed and balanced diet of both wet and dried food twice a day.  If your cat has a special diet due to being a kitten, elderly or if you have supplied us with a prescription diet from your vet we will feed in accordance with your instructions.

We are happy to administer medications such as tablets or eye/ear drops.  We will also administer injections for diabetic cats.  All we ask is that you inform us beforehand and advise on best practice in the administration of medications.
