Medical Care

Please tell us about every health condition, medication and care requirement before your cat arrives.

Routine medication

We are happy to accept cats on routine medication, provided their medical condition is stable. We can administer tablets and injections as necessary in accordance with the owner’s instructions.

Please bring enough medication for the full stay, clear details of the care required and the name and contact details of your own veterinary surgeon.

Vaccinations, fleas and worms

You must provide evidence of a full and up-to-date vaccination history. All cats must also be treated against flea and worm infestation before admission. We reserve the right to treat any cat found to have fleas or worms during their stay, with the owner responsible for the cost.

If your cat becomes unwell

We are registered with a local veterinary practice and reserve the right to request a full clinical examination if we believe your cat is unwell. For cats with an established medical condition, your regular veterinary surgeon may be best placed to provide relevant medical history.

Old Moor Boarding Cattery is covered by insurance; full details are available on request.
